I use Autolite Platniums because they easily last 60k miles with no
appreciable electrode errosion. I have had problems with Bosch Platniums in
my motorcycles which I attribute to the fine wire center electrode (never
tried them in any of my cars/trucks). On occasion I have received poorly
made Champions but otherwise I have not seen any performance difference
between them, Autolite, ND, NGK or AC. I definately think the 50-60 cent
premium for the Autolite Platniums is worth it for the extra life (the truck
does not run any better than with standard plugs).
