We have a '92 Dakota 4x4 3.9L V6. Our problem: the battery, a Sears Die
Hard, will not hold charge. This is the 3rd battery we've had this
year. We replaced the starter a couple weeks ago becuase we thought
that was what was wrong. Has anyone else had probs with the Sears Die
Hard battery, is this a common prob with Dakotas, or is this a unique
situation? The Dakota has 47,000 miles, and we thought the starter
replacement was due to normal wear and tear, but the battery we have
needs replaced, again. If there is a prob with the battery, the old
starter may have been good, and we can get our $100 back. Thanx in
advance for any replies.
