The 97 dakota has the same four wheel drive set-up as the 94 - 96 dakota, live
axle. I have seen many cases where the information in a magazine is incorrect,
just another example of this case. So, beware read ALL magazines articles with
some doubt. Hopefully I haven't offened any writers on the list, I know they
try hard to get all the facts and sometimes the facts are not given to them.
