There is also a small two wire plug next to the thermostat, and it is
real
easy to knock off. I knocked mine off when I was expermenting with some
different temp. thermostats. Then my computer did the same thing. Even
if the t-stat stuck open, at freeway speeds, the motor would warm up.
My
guess is the t-stat is fine, you have a bad sensor, or connection. Just
my 2 Lincolns.
