Well, the ideal TB for performance should flow up to 700cfm any more wouldn't
really be needed, according to Dragstrip Plus. So opening the bore and
actually installing larger butterflies for the unit to flow 700 cfm on a
bench for experimentation with a stocker cfm spec & butterflies would provide
a start. Isn't it great having resources at work? The EDM (similar to the
wire saw's I work on that
carry a slurry medium) would take the Stonehenge blocks off perfectly. If you
take a close look at the bores, you'll see a top and bottom that are
different diameters.
So buying a junkyard TB would be a start. There is a recipe I've got for a
home Flow Bench that's under $150 I still throwing around, but being Mr.
Fickle, I'll probably lose interest till someone elses idea spark's it back
