I have a '93 with a 3.9L V-6 and get valve-clatter/ping at different times,
regardless of the octane of the fuel I'm using. I've about decided that
it's "that Mopar Sound" and am going to forget it. All of the mechanics
I've taken it to all say that it's tuned and running well, there's just
that sound...
