I took a long screw driver, put the butt of it against my ear and the point
next to the injectors. You can hear the injector clatter perfectly. In
fact some of the injectors have a different note than others, at least on
mine. I latter checked the injectors with one of those car stethescopes,
and it sounded clear as day. So what I thought was pinging was just normal
injector noise.
