oil for cold transmissions

& I have the same problem when cold. I just replaced the the fluid with Mobil
& 1 75w90. Helped a little, but I still have problems getting into 2nd when
& its cold.

I would try Redline MTL (manual transmission lubricant). It is a
synthetic that does not get thick when cold, and the MTL stuff is
designed to make the synchros work well. This stuff really worked great
in my '62 Ford. Other synthetic transmission oils can cause the
synchros to not work well.
