Re synthetic oils, was told by guy at a local motorcycle shop that full
synthetic oils in older engines will cause oil leaks. I usually run half
synthetic/half nonsynthetic (Syntec/GTX) and haven't noticed anything
unusual. Haven't seen an engine that doesn't let a little oil out
someplace or the other. At least it doesn't just run out with the engine
sitting there like it used to on old Limey bikes (and worse when they
ran).
