Yep. That's what it does. The full size Chevy and GMC trucks have
'em this year. S/T's get 'em next year. I have heard that Chrysler
is looking to get passenger airbag defeat switches in the Prowler,
Viper, Ram, and Dakota possibly as early as '98. TRW (they do the
Ford versions) I think was awarded that business.
I don't have my C/K brochure here at work but I know there is a small
picture of the switch and a description towards the middle of the
brochure. If you've been in a C/K the switch mounts under the cargo
lamp switch.

Sean,
By airbag defeat, I assume you mean you can switch off
the passenger airbag. I wasn't aware that the 97 had an
airbag defeat switch. Is this true? I don't think the
brochure mentions it.
