hehe, I did that too and they laughed also. What I did:

        They put stickers on the tailgate and also a license plate
frame with thiername on it. I saw what they did and prepped for it. I
knew the day my truck came in and agreed with the salesman to pick it
up the next day. I knew my truck would be washed and full of gas,
(made the salesman promise to fill it before I ordered it) and sitting
on their little "throne" in the new car area. After the paperwork was
done, the salesman, his boss and a whole bunch of other customers were
in this area. I took all of my stuff out of my old truck, put it in my
new truck, and pulled out a screwdriver. I then replaced the plate
frame with one of my own, and peeled the stickers off as they were put
on only a hour before. I wadded it all up, threw it in a trash can and
drove away. I did notice that I had a large audience as I drove
off...heh.
