Guys:
After hearing of all these brake problems ... I hope they fixed them for
97. I have an 89 Sundance that needed a complete brake job at 30,000 km
(not miles). disks had pitted and the factory drums couldn't be turned.
My mechanic tossed the works and replaced all the factory brake parts with
after-market parts. Told me the CC replacement brake parts were junk, but
the aftermarket parts would last for last the life of the car, as did the
disks and drums on my 78 3/4 ton. Those factory parts are still in service
17 years and 100,000 miles later.
