Congrats on what appears to have been a great day of racing!! I had the
same problem with my BFG TA's. I finally put them on the front, and moved
my Dunlop GT Qualifiers to the back. Much better. 2.2 60ft times. 235/70's.

Well I had tire problems last night at TAD. I purchased some Mando 275/60's
(Viper RT's) made by Cooper. They were $64 a piece, what a deal, or so I
thought. I put them on my spare rims. Man I was going to kill them off the
line, could'nt wait to get to the track.
When I get to the track, I notice one of my back tires (Dunlops) is going
flat, no problem, I'm taking them off anyway. I stage without any burnout,
who needs to burn out when you have tires this big? Well I take the tach to
2200 like I usually do and drop the clutch, tires go up in smoke, Damn. 2.4
60ft time and only 15.3 et. I made 6 runs last night, I adjusted the tire
presure up and down, took off the sway bar, changed my launch rpm, burn out,
did'nt burn out, everything, but I could not get better than a 15.1 and only
got to 90mph once.
Needless to say I was pissed. And to make matters worse, the tires that
would get me there were sitting there with a flat. Oh well. I learned a
valuable lesson, stick with what works.
