a fellow dakota owner sent me here. i own a 93 dakota sport. purchased
new, spared no expenses, ie: rust proofing and armor protection for
paint. paint began peeling in and making way for rust. i took the
vehicle to a paint and body rep in the summer of 96. I was asked where I
had the vehicle painted after I bought it. to be short chrysler made a
$650.00 good faith offer which is 50% of total re-paint cost. where do i
go from here. i feel that i am not responsible for the cost. does
anyone know of a class action suit regarding this kind of problem.
