This is interesting. I have not had any paint flake off, but I have
noticed other problems. Black specks in the paint, overspray (black)
right behindthe headlights, and dirt particles in the paint that cause
the paint to break off, which looks exactly like a rock chip. It is
not noticable to the average person, but since I used to do detail
work I notice the smallest imperfection. I would not prefer to have
the entire truck repainted, just the chips filled in, clear-coated,
and blended in with the the rest of the paint. If you find out any
more, please let us know...
