No debate as far as I concerned 3.90 and SG. The difference in the gas milage
is negligable with the OD transmissions and if you are in any type of country
other than flat deserts then gas milage may actually be better and a lot less
shifting with the transmission. I am looking at 4:10 gears, of course I do
not drive it much and am not concerned with the gas mileage that much. I have
gotten mid 19's on the road cruise set at 65 -70 and the air on, in my 93 2wd
CC V8 auto and 3.90 SG. I am happy with that and I hate that darn shifting
back and forth on the high geared ones.
