I have not heard of problems at 5500. The stock SBEC has a 5500 rev limiter
and it worked, The MP SBEC has a 6200 or 6500 rev limit. I don't think CC
would have a 6200 or 6500 rev limited if they were going to have problems at
5500. I have also heard that the valves will float at around 6200 with stock
springs.. I know before the shift kit I would hit on the rev limit when using
Nitrous but shift kit cured that.
