Well:
I am in kind of the same predicament. I found a 340 ready to go,
everything new in the motor, machine work done, 8 3/4 rear end, 3.55
gears, posi traction unit and 4 new shocks for the truck for 1,000 dollars.
Good deal so I am going to get it. I was going through the Chrylser
Collision Book and everything seems to match up, Frames, crossmembers and
so on. You can also buy transmission mounts, and motor mounts. The total
cost I think for the mounts is around $300 some dollars. You will also
need a bigger radiator, but I am not sure what I am going to use. You will
aslo need and electric fan too.
Later
