Stock sound system

Does anyone know anything about the stock sound system ? I have a 1994 with
a stock 4 speaker AM FM tape deck . The speakers are 8 ohm , I want to put 4
ohm speakers in and leave the stock stereo in . It is almost impossible to
find high performance 8 ohm speakers .
