Well, I've installed a K&N on my 97 and it's a keeper.
My question to everybody is -
Did you remove the stock filter box?
if so, how??
I looked at removing mine just to get more air flow in the engine
compartment and just more room in general. I tried to remove the hold down
stud at the bottom of the box by turning it out. Doesn't seem to have any
effect. How does that hold down and one in front of the box come out?
