Funny... You must not have the heavy duty cooling package... On
my truck the gauge reads 1/4 (towards the C side) most of the time, and
when I am in the desert (Yuma, AZ.) @ 110 F. I have idled the truck for 20
minutes with the AC on...and it only went to 1/2 on the temp gauge... The
clutch fan would kick in when I would pull away...but stop after a minute
or two of driving... But the gauge has never been about 1/2- 5/8ths...Even
while towing in those temperatures...
