I've used Vavoline for 30 years and never had trouble with oil. I believe
the important thing is to change the oil and filter regularly with an
approved SAE oil in the recommended weight. For the magnum engines, I
think 10-30 in summer and 5-30 in winter is recommended. Someone else
mentioned they use straight 30 oil, wonder how that be on a 40 below
morning?? :-(

I hope I'm not opening up a can of worms here, but I'm interested in what
type/weight oil people are using in their Daks. I've got a 97 with the V/6
and an auto. I previuosly used Mobil-1 15/50 in my Nissan 4 banger and got
