Your engine is clearly missing on at least one cylinder. Take it back to
the dealer. Chances are pretty good it's just a loose plug wire, but
since you're still under warranty, let them worry about it. Keep it
mind for the future though -- you'll know when it's time for new plugs,
cap, rotor, and wires when the time comes (40-50K miles).

I'm pretty certain that what you're hearing is the rear leaf springs.
The factory uses slick little plastic pads near the end of each leaf --
where they rub against the next leaf. Sometimes the spring factory
doesn't get the things locked into the holes right, and they drop out.
Missing, you have metal against metal with no lube. Again, since you're
under warranty, get them to make a permanent repair by putting pads
where they're supposed to be.

>Third, my clutch pedal squeaks when it is depressed and then again when

There have been a couple posts on this already. I would get a friend to
work the clutch while you track down the noise. The dealer fix may be
called for, but I'd lean towards a teflon dry lube too. We used to use
Sil-Glyde (or whatever) on snow shovels, but I haven't bought any lately
(doesn't snow much in San Diego!). If you're having trouble finding
something, try a bicycle shop. You'll find a product called White Lightning
that is wax and teflon in a solvent carrier. The solvent dries off to
leave a dry lube that doesn't attract dust. Only problem is, it's not
an aerosol, so if you can't drip, squirt, or dab it onto what's squeaking,
too bad. But there's hope. Castrol makes a dry bike chain lube that _IS_
available in aerosol cans, and works pretty much the same as W. L.

One note about the dry lubes - they will wash off to some extent. So if
your squeak comes back after a visit to the pressure wash - reapply.

Oh, and welcome to the list!
