I tend to agree with you Sam. My Dak has the exact same "shake" you
describe and has had it since it was driven off the dealers lot. A lot
of people mistake this "feature" to be a problem with the engine. Mine
has done it for 62,000 + miles so I don't think there is anything
wrong. Also a friends '97 Ram 360cid idles identical to mine, you just
cant feel it as much because the truck is larger and heavier, but it is
the same shake. Close your eyes and it's like setting in the Dakota...
