Well I am not a good example of 5spd brakes. 1. I have had problems
with mine since the first 20,000 (warped rotors) etc. 2. I tow a
4000 lb offshore boat ( not trailor brakes ).

20,000 rotors begin warping (adjust torque on lugs 95 lbs)
30,000 new pads, turn driver side rotor, replace passenger side rotor
       replace brake shoes not really needed but what the hell
50,000 rotors begin warping again (even with correct torque)
70,000 turned rotors, replaced pads with non-metalic,(hopefully to
       stop warping rotors) the pads still had lots of pad
       left, would have probably lasted another 30,000
