Doug Thorleys....not so bad after all....

I just want to thank all you guys who have responded about the Doug
Thorleys. Well, my confidence is restored. It was just that the guy I
talked to was so against headers I thought I should just make sure
before I spent $500. I want all the performance I can bolt on, but I
also want my truck to last as long as possible. If a performance mod is
going to do any damage I don't want it. I did not think the thorleys
would do any harm but like I said, just wanted to make sure before I did
it. I think this guy does not realize that the DT's are top quality
headers (not the rust out and replace types). Also I think about the
starter issue, he is speaking from experience with the small block
chevies. I know on my '79 350cid 4X4 chevy (which is bone stock) the
starter has long suffered from heat problems.

Thank's again guys....aint this list great?
