I just recently got the TekStyle tonneau for my 97 Dakota CC. I went on
real easy. I went for the snaps over other brands that use plastic clips
because I've seen a few clips break in the cold. Prices I was quoted on
various makes of soft tonneaus ranged up to $280. Prices on the Tekstyle
ranged from $209.95 to 250. The best price was from Summit Racing. They
were selling the Tekstyle for $209.95. Summit also only charges $3.50
for handling, no shipping unless you want it 2nd day UPS.

The August 1997 issue of Truckin' has a how-to article on soft tonneau
installation. They used a Downey cover which looks similar to the
Tekstyle. The local shop that carries Downey quoted me $269 plus tax
installed.

I only went with the soft cover for 2 reasons:
1. Cost (hard covers were $500 and up)
2. Ease of removal, all the hard covers needed 2 people to remove or a
contraption to your garage ceiling. Not due to weight but size. The
sectional covers just didn't seem sturdy enough for the cost.
