There is no way in hell you're going to HURT a mechanical device by
changing the lubricant too often! IMHO, this is their self-serving
attempt to cost you a transmission overhaul. $50 is cheap peace of mind.
[You could have bought some first-rate synthetic and a lube pump
and done the change yourself for $50, but hey, it's under warranty, right?]
