Scanners for Dakota computer

Does anyone have any experience with the XP240 diagnostic scanners? I am
having a hesitation problem, and have posted to this list a few times with
the problem...

I am considering the scanner, but the $300 price tag makes it a tuff sell...

ANyone have any input??
