I wouldn't use the actual exchange rate, this would come up with an
extremely high price for the truck. What you can do to determine the
exchange rate is check the MSRP on a truck you want at your local Dodge
dealership, then check with Dodge's web site and calculate the factory
price with the same options from there. (www.4adodge.com). Use these two
numbers to come up with an 'actual' exchange rate, rather than the
Canadian/US dollar version the banks use. Then go to www.edmunds.com and
use them to check the dealer invoice prices. (These are US$ prices) Use
your previously determined exchange rate to calculate the price of your
truck to the dealer in Canadian dollars. It works well, though you may
need to use a calculator. Otherwise, Consumer Reports can give you a
dealer invoice for your truck for about $15, though I don't know if they
have a Cdn$ version or not.
