Try a hole saw. If you remover the bumper (should just be 4 or so bolts)
you might be able to find a body or machine shop to do it on a drill press.
It will be much more even.

Also you can dress up the holes by using a flexible grommet strip around the
raw, cut, edge. The door edge guards would work well. I mean the ones
which come in an 18 or 24 length with a u channel lenghtwise in them.
Sometimes they have adhesive in the channel. Heat the strip with a hair
dryer to get it to conform better. You can also use a length of vacuum line
slit along it. use silicone caulk to glue it in place.

These will not only dress it up but is should also keep the raw metal edge
from rusting.

Hope this helps

Subject: Q:Fog lamp cutouts

Anyone know an easy way to cut out the fog lamp covers on a 97 Dak bumper?
I don't want to scratch anything and I'd like the holes to look like they
weren't done after the fact. I'd also like to avoid spending more then $15
to cut two, 4 inch holes. Thanks.
