1)Don't know anything about the idle speed.
2)A friend of mine at work who runs a stock car told me to be careful when
cleaning the K&N filter. If you get it wet and it dries to fast (because it
is cotton) it will shrink. Just like when I get my new cotton shirts out of
the dryer.
