My point is -- since I'll be getting a 3.90 rear ('cause I'll be pulling a
5,800 lb trailer), this will make first gear (and second, etc.,) even
"lower" than yours, so it may be OK to start out in second when I'm not
pulling . . . and I'm on a level or downhill surface. I'm definitely not
too lazy to shift (I'm 54, and my only automatic vehicle was a motorhome),
but I like to be practical, too.
