Well Jim...I had to go home and read the manual to check for a
thermostatic valve on the tranny cooler. I couldn't find any
evidence of a valve on the A998 in 1987. I like the idea of using
finned pipes. It probably wouldn't hurt. If you already have the
trailer package with the extra air tranny cooler in front of the rad,
the finned pipes probably won't make much difference. If there's
a big difference in price, I wouldn't bother.
