I wonder if that is only true of 4x4's? I have a 1997 V-6 auto 4x2 and it
came with the 3.55 gears.
BTW Keith, what kind of K&N FIPK (size, model # or whatever) did you put on
your V-6? I've been wanting to put one on my truck but K&N says they don't
make one specifically for that engine and I was wondering what would work.
Also, how much of the stock air intake did you remove? Any info would be
helpful
