I've got dents in the front of my bed from pushing my 2 jetskis into
the truck. I also have a slight bend in the center from tying down my
motorcycle,
and having the front tire press square in the middle. To cure this, I have
cut a piece
of 3/4" plywood that fits tight up against the front of the bed, and has
2X4's cut on the
side that keep it from falling over when nothing is against it. This board
spreads the
load of the motorcycle's front tire across the entire width of the bed.
Works great.

OH BTW: My buddy has a Xtra Cab Toyota, and his bed bend so bad when I
tied
down my bike in his truck that the bed touched the back of the cab... We
had to put
a pry bar from underneath to get the bed bent back in shape. He too has a
nice
piece of plywood on the front of his bed! :P
