I have the Gibson single 3" system with a 3 1/2 stainless steel tip.
Gibson also sells a dual rear system that uses 2 1/2" pipes, the rear of
the muffler has dual exits. Before I installed mine, I was worried that it
would be too loud, it's not.. It has a deep rich sound and is virtually
silent at 60 - 65 cruising speeds. You can hear it when you get on it tho,
but that's what you want. Don't about the Flowmaster other than I heard
they are louder than the Gibsons.

Subject: Gibson vs. Flowmaster

I'm gonna order a cat-back for my '97 Dakota Sport in the next few days.
Before I do,
I have a few questions.

1) Which system has a richer (deeper) sound to it?

2) Does Flowmaster come with (or can you get) 3 or 3 1/2 inch tips? You can
order 3 inch with
   the Gibson.

3) Does Flowmaster have a dual rear exhaust system?

I realize I could call Truck Performance but I'm looking for input from
y'all that have these on
their vehicles.

Thanks in advance.
