I had one in my 77 Toyota. Didn't block vision, but it didn't usually
help ventilation much either. When I did get ventilation from it, it
tended to blow hair in my face, which wasn't helpful either. The
rattle was such a nuisance, I finally trashed it & put in a plain
window.
