Re: Cleaning Aluminum Wheels??

Not familiar with progressive wheels, but here is some 'FYI',

It's very possible that the wheels were simply ignored, and if driven around
salt water or in areas where they salt the roads, that could have easily
caused the problem(s).

If the wheels are clear-coated (which many are now-a-days), there is
almost no way to ever get them looking like new again short of
glass beading/sand blasting, then polishing, then putting on a new
coat of clear-coat.

I drive mountain roads and the couple of times my old Porsche saw
some 'salted' roads, so I purchased some high buck 'Formula 1'
wheel polish, but it still didn't help (the difference between gloss
and non-gloss will always show no matter how clean the wheel
is).
