94 Dakota Sport trouble

Hi folks,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I have a 94 Dodge Dak sport,
V6, standard cab, swb, 3:21 gears, and Michlen 235/75/R15 on the stock
rims. And I am having a bad time with it rubbing on the frame. I've
looked for spacers, hub adapters, and even new wheels, but the only
thing I could find were new wheels. Bad thing is the only wheels I
could find cost $175 or more. Anybody have any ideas on how to make
em' stop rubbing, or if you know any good places that have 6 lug 4.5
patter wheels?
Also, what are some decent upgrades for the V6? I wanted a V8 but
the truck was given to me, so I didn't argue, and now I can't put one
in because it will void the warranty. But out of curiousity, would a
V8 bolt up?
                        Thanks,
                           Daniel Gregory
