I ordered mine last week almosr same as yours except 26G package has
automatic, I did not get the tunes or abs. Invoice on mine came to 19996 and
the dealer added 400 plus 295 for ad. came to about 20691 +T&L. It looks like
you can do about a grand betterwith some shopping. I have the HD service,
posi traction HD handeling, 6x9 power mirrors, mats, molding,overhead,trailer
tow and auto V 8.

I did not have to deal hard and probably could have gotten another 100 off if
I spent more time.What helped me a lot besides reading old postings was
carprices.com it gives you a list if models and options you just x the ones
you want and it prints a one page report with your custom order with retail
and invoice. The report looks kind of like a factory sticker.Its a lot easer
to take with you than some of the long reports and was right on to the penny.
When I took it in I told the saleslady I wanted to buy a truck was going to
get bids from 6 dealers and buy the cheapest or the first one that would give
it to me for 400 over invoice (I should have said 300 ) She left to talk to
someone came back and took my orded, it only took about a half hour
altogether.

A couple of questions frin a newbie:
Can a truck be ordered sans badges & decals?
My preference is not to have MAGNUM POWER V8 plastered on the side of my
truck.
What is "Enhanced Accident Response System" & "solar-control" glass on the
rear window?
Where and/or how do I access the FAC file?
Other than some "cosmetics" the only mods I am currently planning on are
dual exhaust (suggestions solicited) & filter charger.
Waffling b'twixt Amethyst (purple) or Black.
Thinking about going w/Black as I've already got two purple motorcycles and
a purple car.
Until later I'll slink back into lurker mode for a while.
