Here's a repost of my times from June, for comparison:
============
I took my Dakota to 75-80 Dragway's "Mopar Super Sunday" today and made a
few runs in it. It's a 1996, Short Bed, Regular Cab w/ 318, 5-speed and
3.90 sure-grip rear. Only mod is cat-back duals with 1 flowmaster muffler.
Run 1:
ET 15.5463
MPH 88.5278
Reaction time: .8312 (.5000 is a perfect light)
60 ft.: 2.2938
1/8 mile: 10.0016
Comments: I pulled right into the staging lanes upon arriving at the track
and going thru Tech. Launched easy with moderate wheelspin, shifted at 5200
rpm (not powershifting). 1964 Dodge 383 4-barrell beat me running 14.9.
Run 2:
ET 15.4675
MPH 87.8481
Reaction time: .7282 (.5000 is a perfect light)
60 ft.: 2.2068
1/8 mile: 9.8859
Comments: I put the tailgate down, launched easy with moderate wheelspin,
shifted at 5200 rpm. Beat a Daytona Turbo Z 5-speed who ran 16.5.
Run 3:
ET 15.3861
MPH 89.9732
Reaction time: .5596 (.5000 is a perfect light)
60 ft.: 2.3908
1/8 mile: 9.9376
Comments: Removed air cleaner lid and element and let the truck cool for
about 30 min. Launched a little harder with incredible amount of wheelspin,
all the way thru first gear and most of 2nd gear. Shifted at 5200 rpm.
Dusted a Ram SST who ran 16.5.
Run 4:
ET 15.3271
MPH 89.7859
Reaction time: .6277 (.5000 is a perfect light)
60 ft.: 2.2530
1/8 mile: 9.8651
Comments: Let the truck cool about an hour. Let a small amount of air out
of the rear tires. Launched easy but still had a good deal of wheelspin,
shifted at 5200 rpm. Beat Turbo Lebaron convertible who ran 16.7.
