Not always true. My '89 T-bird auto, my mom's '96 G-Caravan auto, sister's
'94 Saturn auto and dad's '92 LeSabre auto will all roll backwards in drive
if on a steep enough hill. I think it just has to do with your competence
as a driver of a manual. If you really learn to drive a manual well, you
don't have any problems on hills. I know you're 19 or 20 (right?), so how
much experience do you actually have driving a manual? Just curious. If
you've only driven on occasionally, then I can see why you say the things
you do about manuals.
