Not on a vehicle made in the last several years, You have to depress the
clutch to engage the starter to the best of my memory, drove one the other
day and you had to push the sucker alllllll the way to the floooor to get it
to start.. But in the old days that was a true statment and it did work, you
know they should put a by-pass on Ferds it would save them Ferd owners a lot
of embarrassing moments in those intersections..
