Unless they've changed from 97, your dealer is full of shzt. You need the
relays (trailer lights don't work without them, mine didn't until the
relays were installed). The package in the glovebox of my 97 had the
relays, a 7 pin (big round) to 4 pin (flat) converter and a wiring harness
and plug for a trailer brake controller.
