In 97 it was prewired ... CC even supplies a pigtail...but hydraulic over
electric brake control (very old-fashioned) is not the recommended method.
The wiring harness is for a fully electronic brake controller. That is
what I installed and it works great. Connect the wires to the pig-tail,
plug in the pig-tail to the plug under the dash and it's ready to go!
