On mine I've hit 4500 RPM in 5th... If you ratio that 2800 rpm = 80 mph
(indicated),
you can take 4500x80=360000... Then divide that by 2800.... You get
128.57...
So, at 4500 rpm you are running about 129 mph. Given the accuracy of
speedometers,
I figure I was running between 127-132 mph. I figured the math with the
final drive, 3.90
gears, the height of the tires, and the RPMs I was turning. In doing that I
came up with
130.45 mph... Again, you have an accuracy issue of the tach now.

And it was still pulling... It would have hit 5000 easily in another
10-15 seconds... That would
have worked out to around 142.86.. mph... Too scarey for me...
