I myself wanted a Dakota R/T last summer but was told availability was pushed
from the fall of 1997 to late spring of 1998. I decided to but a Ram SS/T
instead of waiting for an R/T.
Perhaps I will buy a Dakota R/T in 1999 or 2000 when Dodge will offer the all
new
"New Mack" V-8's.
