Well I remember racing a 97 C-1500 $x4 ( not sure if they designations again
to K-1500 ) w/ a vortech/vortec 350 and I whomped his but, it was a rolling
start and when we hit 40 I was gone and never looked back till Ilooked at the
speedometer, 115 and she still had more coming, didnt notice any shutoff at
all, Chubby was 5 trucklenghts behind so I slowed down let him catch up.
then launched again and left him for good!
