If your v6 is at all like my 8 this is how to do it. The tensioner
pulley or idler pulley whatever you want to call it is what you loosen.
It is below the alternator near the coil. But you dont take it off.
All you do is fit a socket onto the center bolt and turn it clockwise
like you were going to tigten it. This will rotate the whole pulley
inward and as you hold it there you can slip the belt off the pulleys.
Be carfull though because the pulley has a pretty good amount of tension
on it. I changed mine in about 30 mins. not a big job
